Lead Partners

The Dow Chemical Company awarded lead agencies Big Brothers of Sarnia-Lambton, Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton, Sarnia-Lambton Rebound and St. Luke’s United Church with a $1 million Dow Legacy Gift. A community project of this magnitude takes vision, commitment and a passionate belief that by working together, great things can be accomplished.

Collectively, the lead agencies provided programs and services for more than 2,500 children and youth and more than 100 parents in Lambton County last year. Each partner is recognized as a valuable provider of youth-oriented services within Sarnia-Lambton.

Playing an integral role in the project is the congregation of St. Luke’s United Church, which generously donated the use of one acre of land on the corner of Indian Road and Wellington Street.

Management Board

The Dow Centre for Youth will be operated independently of any one agency, by its own management board.

The board is made up of volunteer members of the community consisting of a wide variety of backgrounds and professional affiliations.
