Programs & Services
The $3 million, 14,000-square-foot Dow Centre for Youth will feature:
- New alternative education programs.
- New programs addressing the growing issue of female adolescent aggression.
- Breakfast and/or lunch programs.
- A dedicated location for children matched with mentors through Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
- Programs to support parents in their efforts to cope with the challenges of raising children.
- Expanded youth substance abuse programs.
- Programs dedicated to First Nations' youth.
- A community room for public use.
